After the pre-fermentation extraction, Chardonnay is fermented in new oak barrels, where it remains for a few months in the wine lees, in order to complete its rich character and acquire a greasy taste. Assyrtiko is fermented in stainless steel tanks, maintaining its vitality and giving the wine a note of freshness.
Its color is straw yellow with green highlights. Its nose is expressive with aromas of ripe fruits, such as melon, apricot, pineapple and notes of lemon, minerals and flowers, in an elegant environment of vanilla and hazelnut praline. Rich in the mouth - Creamy texture, exuberant, very good structure. Its acidity gives freshness, balances its sweetness and gives it elegance. Intense aftertaste with notes of fruit, cedar and vanilla.
AGING POTENTIAL: 5-8 years
TASTY COMBINATIONS: fatty fish, pasta with creamy sauces, risotto with white sauces, dishes with poultry and mature cheeses.
